About the Role

The CD&D Color Technician role is central to advancing Archer Daniels Midland's Colors research and development capabilities. You'll execute laboratory workstreams that directly enable product innovation, customer solutions, and the commercialization of proprietary color systems. Your work translates market opportunities into real solutions, supporting business priorities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision in a fast-paced lab environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct laboratory experiments and testing to develop and validate color formulations and systems
• Support product development initiatives from concept through commercialization across beverage, confectionery, dairy, and related applications
• Prepare samples, document test results, and maintain detailed technical records with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with the Colors CD&D team and cross-functional stakeholders to solve customer challenges and identify commercialization opportunities
• Perform quality control and troubleshooting to ensure experimental work meets specifications and timelines
• Contribute to laboratory efficiency by maintaining equipment, safety standards, and organized workflows
