Cashier – Lunch/Afternoon Shift

About the Role

As a Cashier at Raising Cane's, you're the first and last impression our guests have. You'll be the hospitality hub of our restaurant—ringing up orders, processing payments, and creating positive interactions that keep customers coming back. This role is perfect if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoy connecting with people.

What You'll Do

• Operate the register with accuracy and speed during lunch and afternoon service
• Process cash, card, and mobile payments while maintaining security protocols
• Greet customers with a warm welcome and answer questions about our menu
• Collaborate with crew members to fulfill orders quickly and accurately
• Keep the front-of-house area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
• Follow all food safety and operational standards consistently

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled)
• Ability to work a lunch and afternoon shift schedule reliably
• Strong communication skills and genuine interest in customer service
• Comfort with point-of-sale technology and cash handling
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
• Team player attitude with a positive, can-do mindset
• Prior retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required
