About the Role

As a Cardiopulmonary RRT, you'll provide critical respiratory and cardiac support to patients in our Lawrenceville facility. Working alongside physicians, nurses, and specialists, you'll manage complex cardiopulmonary cases and play a vital role in patient outcomes during their most critical moments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory assessments and comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and cardiopulmonary equipment
  • Collect and analyze arterial blood gas samples and interpret clinical results
  • Monitor vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
  • Assist physicians with intubation, bronchoscopy, and other clinical procedures
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with the care team to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes
  • Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory therapy and discharge care
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality standards

What You Bring

  • Current RRT certification and valid respiratory therapist license
  • Minimum 1–2 years of cardiopulmonary or acute care clinical experience
  • Proficiency with mechanical ventilators, monitoring systems, and respiratory equipment
  • Strong ability to interpret blood gases and clinical data
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple patients and adapt to changing clinical demands
