Youth Villages is hiring a SWITCH Clinical Specialist in Memphis, Shelby County. This full-time position offers an opportunity to deliver direct clinical support to young people and families addressing mental health challenges.
About the Role
You'll join our Memphis Allies team as a SWITCH Clinical Specialist, providing comprehensive clinical services within an evidence-based framework. In this role, you'll work directly with youth and their families, delivering individualized clinical support designed to address immediate challenges while building long-term family stability and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify each youth and family's strengths, needs, and treatment goals
- Design and execute personalized treatment plans grounded in research-informed practice
- Deliver ongoing clinical support and case management, maintaining consistent engagement and monitoring progress
- Coordinate seamlessly with treatment teams, including clinicians, case managers, and community-based partners
- Document clinical progress and communicate updates with supervisors, referring agencies, and other stakeholders
- Provide services across multiple settings—homes, offices, and community locations—as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or related credential) or demonstrated eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience providing clinical services to children, teens, and families in mental or behavioral health settings
- Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress evaluation
- Strong relational and communication skills with demonstrated cultural humility
- Capacity to manage a caseload while coordinating care across multiple systems
- Valid driver's license with reliable access to transportation for in-home and community work
