Lancaster County Career & Technology Center seeks an experienced Automotive Technician Program Director to lead our Adult Education automotive technology program at our Willow Street, PA campus. This full-time leadership position offers the opportunity to shape career pathways for adult learners entering the skilled trades.
About the Role
As Program Director, you will oversee the strategic development and daily operations of an adult-focused automotive technology curriculum. You'll work directly with students pursuing meaningful careers in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance while managing instructor teams and ensuring program excellence. Your vision and leadership will help prepare working adults for high-demand roles in the automotive industry.
What You'll Do
- Design and continuously improve automotive technology curriculum that meets industry standards and student learning outcomes
- Supervise and mentor automotive technology instructors, supporting professional development and instructional quality
- Recruit, enroll, and support adult students through their educational journey
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local automotive employers and industry organizations
- Manage program budgets, resources, and equipment to optimize learning environments
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation requirements
- Track and report on student achievement, completion rates, and career placement outcomes
- Stay current with automotive technology trends and industry certifications
