About the Role
This full-time Associate Attorney position centers on general liability defense litigation. The successful candidate will take ownership of their own files from intake through resolution, working alongside an experienced team at a firm known for its strong regional reputation. The role starts as an in-office position and transitions to a hybrid remote schedule, giving you both hands-on mentorship early on and flexibility as you grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a portfolio of general liability and civil defense matters
- Handle case files across each stage of the litigation process
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and develop defense strategy on assigned matters
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to advance case objectives
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in general liability or civil defense litigation
- Active license to practice law in good standing
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing competing deadlines
