As Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in helping our Citra store thrive. You'll work alongside the Store Manager to ensure our customers receive exceptional service, our team members are engaged and supported, and our store operates efficiently and profitably. What You'll Do

• Assist with opening and closing store procedures, including cash handling and register reconciliation
• Supervise and support store associates; assist with scheduling, training, and performance management
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and merchandise displays throughout the sales floor
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and process freight and shipments
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Ensure compliance with Dollar General policies, safety standards, and company procedures
• Monitor sales performance and help drive store goals
• Assist the Store Manager with loss prevention and security protocols

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Cash handling experience and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Reliable transportation and willingness to perform physical duties (standing, lifting, bending)
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
