About the Role

As an Associate Producer at Fox News, you'll play a critical role in the daily production of America's Newsroom. You'll work in a dynamic newsroom environment where fast-paced decision-making and editorial excellence are essential. Your focus will be on helping to execute broadcast segments, manage story flow, and ensure every on-air element comes together seamlessly for millions of viewers.

What You'll Do

• Monitor news wires and developing stories to identify and pitch content for the daily broadcast
• Research background information and prepare materials to support reporting and guest interviews
• Assist with script writing, segment timing, and overall rundown management
• Coordinate with reporters, producers, and on-air talent to ensure smooth segment execution
• Update broadcast rundowns and communicate production changes across newsroom teams
• Contribute editorial ideas and help shape the daily news agenda
• Work cross-functionally with graphics, technical production, and digital teams
• Respond to breaking news and adapt coverage as situations develop

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, broadcast media, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
• Excellent writing skills and solid editorial news judgment
• Ability to thrive under pressure with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated knowledge of current events and news industry awareness
• Familiarity with newsroom software, broadcast production tools, and content management systems
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Passion for television news and commitment to delivering accurate information
