About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Construction Compliance Executive, the Senior Director Construction Compliance sits within the MTA's Construction & Development agency, supporting the Delivery/Stations division. This on-site New York City position is full-time and currently includes telework eligibility of approximately one day per week. Newly hired employees become eligible to apply for the telework arrangement 30 days following their effective start date.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct compliance oversight across active construction and capital delivery efforts within the Stations program.
• Champion adherence to applicable codes, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards throughout project execution.
• Partner with project delivery teams to identify, document, and resolve compliance risks before they escalate.
• Provide senior-level guidance and reporting to the Construction Compliance Executive leadership team.
• Strengthen accountability, quality, and consistency across construction processes agency-wide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in construction compliance, project delivery, or related oversight within large-scale infrastructure or capital programs.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and complex, multi-stakeholder construction environments.
• Strong working knowledge of construction standards, regulatory requirements, and contract administration.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City, with limited telework eligibility as outlined by agency policy.
