DGRH is seeking a dedicated Responsable de circonscription to lead social and educational services across a defined district in the US. This full-time, on-site leadership role places an experienced social work professional at the head of a local unit, driving quality care and coordinated community support.

About the Role

As Responsable de circonscription with DGRH in the US, you will provide hierarchical oversight of a district-level team within the socio-educational, sports, and cultural sector. Operating as a unit leader (chef de cellule), you will be the central point of accountability for the delivery of social services throughout your circonscription, ensuring that field activities align with organizational standards and the needs of the people served.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct hierarchical supervision and day-to-day management of the social work team within the district.
• Coordinate and oversee the socio-educational programs and interventions delivered across the circonscription.
• Guide and support social workers (travailleurs sociaux) in their casework and professional practice.
• Ensure service delivery remains consistent, compliant, and responsive to community needs.
• Act as the operational lead for your unit, organizing resources and priorities to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Background in social work, aligned with the role of Assistant socio-éducatif and the broader socio-educational, sports, and cultural field.
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team-leadership capacity.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities suited to managing a district-level unit.
• Commitment to ethical, person-centered social practice and effective public service.
• Capacity to work on-site in the US, as this is not a remote position.
