What This Role Involves

As an Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM), you'll be a key leader in a fast-paced automotive service environment. You'll work directly with the Service Center Manager to maintain operational excellence, build a capable team, and ensure every guest receives the high-quality service that sets Valvoline apart. This full-time position balances hands-on contributions with supervisory duties, supporting both the day-to-day service delivery and the strategic goals of your Pittsburgh location.

What You'll Do

• Train, mentor, and develop team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences and service quality
• Support scheduling, staffing decisions, and performance management alongside the Service Center Manager
• Oversee service operations, quality standards, and guest satisfaction metrics
• Perform technical service work on vehicles and interact directly with customers
• Assist with inventory, supply management, and opening/closing procedures
• Champion a positive, safety-focused workplace culture

Who We're Looking For

• Prior experience in automotive service, quick-lube operations, retail management, or a similar supervisory role
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop others
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Valid driver's license required
