About the Role
As a Lube Tech/Technician, you'll be the backbone of our service operations at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. This is a hands-on position where you'll work directly with vehicles and customers daily, gaining real-world automotive knowledge while making an immediate impact on our team.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine oil changes using proper procedures and quality products
- Check and top off fluid levels including coolant, transmission fluid, and windshield washer
- Rotate and balance tires to maintain vehicle performance and safety
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify potential service needs for customers
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols
- Provide friendly, professional service to every customer who walks through our doors
- Support the team to ensure efficient, timely service delivery
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn automotive fundamentals and best practices
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
