Hope Fellowship Ministries in Frisco, Collin County is hiring a full-time 4.5 Curriculum/Ministry Coordinator to lead transformational discipleship experiences for elementary students in grades 4 and 5. In this position, you'll partner with staff, volunteers, and families across our ministry campuses to help preteens deepen their faith and build lasting connections within our church community.
About the Role
The 4.5 Curriculum/Ministry Coordinator oversees all aspects of elementary preteen ministry programming, from strategic vision to day-to-day execution. You'll design and deliver Bible-centered experiences that engage fourth and fifth graders while equipping parents to reinforce spiritual growth at home. This role balances creative curriculum work with volunteer management and cross-campus coordination.
What You'll Do
- Develop age-appropriate curriculum and learning experiences aligned with our church's discipleship mission
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders across all campus locations
- Plan and execute ministry events, gatherings, and seasonal programs for students and families
- Foster spiritual growth through interactive teaching, small-group ministry, and one-on-one mentoring
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's spiritual journey and ministry participation
- Collaborate with the broader ministry team to ensure consistent theology and teaching standards
- Track attendance, manage registration, and oversee ministry budgets and supplies
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated passion for reaching elementary students and supporting their spiritual development
- Experience in children's or youth ministry, Christian education, or related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and lead effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Christian theology and comfortable communicating faith concepts to families
- Proficiency with planning tools, databases, and communication platforms
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work some evenings and weekends
