Pet Food Express
Pet Food Express is seeking a full-time Senior Recruiter & HR Generalist in Pacheco, Contra Costa County to lead store talent acquisition and drive human resources initiatives. Reporting to the HR Manager, Employee Experience, you'll own recruitment strategy while supporting critical HR operations and implementing improvements across systems and workflows.
About the Role
This position combines full-cycle recruiting with HR generalist responsibilities, offering the opportunity to shape talent practices and culture. You'll work to streamline processes, introduce new ideas, and strengthen the employee experience across store operations. Based in Pacheco, Contra Costa County, you'll be instrumental in building and supporting the team that drives Pet Food Express forward.
What You'll Do
- Manage complete recruitment cycle for store positions, from sourcing and screening through hiring and onboarding
- Partner with store leadership to identify talent needs and develop hiring strategies aligned with business growth
- Handle employee relations matters, including documentation, conflict resolution, and policy guidance
- Identify inefficiencies in HR and recruitment processes and design solutions to improve workflows
- Develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee experience and retention
- Serve as a resource to store leadership on HR compliance, best practices, and people strategy
- Support training and onboarding programs for new hires across locations
