About the Role

Stantec's Design Visualization Services group partners with architects, engineers, and project managers to bring ideas to life through high-impact visual storytelling. As a 3D Visualization Specialist, you'll be a key member of our production team, developing photorealistic renderings, dynamic animations, photo simulations, and presentation materials for a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, architectural, and environmental projects. Your visualizations will help clients, regulators, and communities understand proposed designs with clarity and confidence.

What You'll Do

• Build detailed 3D models from architectural and engineering specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across project timelines
• Produce high-resolution renderings and photorealistic imagery tailored to client presentations and stakeholder engagement
• Create animated sequences and video content that illustrate site improvements, phasing, and design intent
• Develop photo-realistic simulations showing proposed structures in their built environment
• Design graphics, layouts, and presentation materials that communicate design narratives effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and deliver visual assets that exceed expectations
• Stay current with visualization software, best practices, and industry trends

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in professional 3D modeling and rendering software (such as Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray, or equivalent platforms)
• Strong visual design fundamentals with an eye for composition, lighting, and realistic materials
• Experience creating presentation-ready renderings and animations for professional audiences
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and design intent accurately
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset when working with internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, pixel-perfect work
• A portfolio demonstrating 3D visualization expertise and design sensibility
