What You'll Do
- Perform precise welding operations on various vessel components using manual or semi-automatic equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble ship parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect work in progress and completed products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment.
- Assist other team members as needed and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in shipbuilding or related field.
- Proven ability to perform precise welding operations with manual or semi-automatic equipment.
- Familiarity with various metals and their properties, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in shipbuilding environments.
