About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Store Manager position at Kay Jewelers inside American Dream Meadowlands in Rutherford, New Jersey. You'll partner with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, support daily operations, and ensure customers receive an exceptional, personalized experience as they shop for jewelry that marks life's most meaningful occasions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team toward shared goals.
• Help oversee day-to-day store operations, from opening and closing to maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Deliver outstanding service that helps customers celebrate love and life through the right jewelry selection.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and key performance metrics.
• Assist with inventory management, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Step into the leadership role and manage the store in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience, ideally in a supervisory or assistant management capacity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine focus on customer care.
• Proven ability to motivate a team and lead by example in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as retail demands.
