About This Position
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Car - Vehicle Installer Upfitter Technician to join our team at JPJ ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS INC in Binghamton, New York. As an installer of communication and safety equipment for various departments including Police and Fire Departments, Ambulance Departments, Public Works, and School vehicles, you will be responsible for installing, removing, and troubleshooting the latest technology solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Install, remove, and troubleshoot two-way radios, emergency lighting systems, and other communication and safety equipment in vehicles.
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide customized solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of installation activities and equipment status.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing installations as needed.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we will train the right candidate on the job.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
