Position Summary

Penske Truck Rental is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team. This role offers a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $24.00 per hour and the opportunity to grow your career in the transportation industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles, including inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Work in a team-oriented environment with other technicians and support staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an automotive technician program preferred.
• Prior experience as a mechanic is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
