What This Role Involves

The Facilities Executive/Manager role reports to the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations and processes of the coldroom and food production facility. The incumbent will manage maintenance activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that the facility operates smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

The key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily maintenance operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Managing a team of maintenance personnel to perform routine and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for the facility.
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to source necessary parts and materials at optimal costs.
• Troubleshooting complex issues related to the coldroom and food production systems, ensuring swift resolution of problems.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in facilities management. The ideal candidate should possess:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing maintenance operations within food production environments.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and directing a team effectively.
• Familiarity with coldroom systems, including refrigeration units, temperature control mechanisms, and related equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle complex technical issues promptly.
