The Opportunity
Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide) Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) is seeking a Senior Manager / Assistant Director to lead the Mentoring Department as it scales across more schools. The role involves leading and managing staff, driving strategic initiatives, codifying core mentoring practices, building partnerships, and enhancing cross-departmental integration under One CDAC.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Mentoring Department's growth and expansion across multiple schools
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of mentoring programs
- Manage and develop staff, ensuring high performance and cross-departmental collaboration
- Codify core mentoring practices and ensure their consistent application across all departments
- BUILD PARTNERSHIPS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT MENTORING PROGRAMS
- Integrate the Mentoring Department more effectively with other CDAC teams to support overall organizational goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in leadership and management roles, preferably within educational or mentoring programs
- A deep understanding of mentoring practices and their application in diverse school settings
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills to drive the growth and quality improvement of mentoring programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing staff and building partnerships
- Ability to integrate cross-departmental efforts to support One CDAC initiatives
