About the Role
Browns’ Scrap Metal Services is seeking a Flat Top truck driver to join our team. This role will be based out of our Gepps Cross branch and involves working Monday to Friday with Saturday work also available due to recent growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Transport scrap metal from various locations to the company's yard efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transport activities.
- Ensure all vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and best practices during transportation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must hold an HR-licensed driver’s license.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a truck driver in the scrap metal industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for record keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
