Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Hook Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials during demolition projects across Queensland.
What You'll Do
- Operate hook trucks to transport and handle heavy construction debris and materials.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on site.
- Work unsupervised, managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operation.
- Participate in regular maintenance activities to keep equipment in good working condition.
- Be available for overtime and weekend work when required by project demands.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Hook Truck Driver or similar role.
- A valid Class 1, 2, and 8 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients on site.
- The ability to work independently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
