The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced dairy farm employee to join our team in Southland, South Island. This full-time position will commence at the beginning of October. Our farm milks 600 cows twice daily using a 40-a-side herringbone milking shed.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Milking cows twice a day
- Assisting with various small jobs around the farm
- Weed spraying as required
- Feeding hay and meal to calves
Requirements
Candidates must have experience in dairy farming. A strong work ethic and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks are essential. Familiarity with farm equipment, milking procedures, and general farm management is highly desirable.
