What This Role Involves

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the lodge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role involves managing the restaurant, bar, cellar, and in-room dining operations while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage operations to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Develop and implement strategies for enhancing menu offerings, promotions, and customer experiences
• Manage a team of chefs, waitstaff, and bar staff to ensure high standards of service and hygiene are maintained
• Monitor inventory levels and manage costs to maintain profitability
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items and dining experiences

Qualifications

• Degree in hospitality management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior F&B role, preferably within a luxury lodge setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Experience in budget management and financial analysis
