What This Role Involves

The Reservationist role at Bright Placements involves managing all accommodation reservations efficiently and professionally. The successful candidate will handle reservation enquiries, process bookings accurately through the Opera Property Management System (PMS), maximize occupancy rates, maintain rate integrity, and ensure seamless communication with guests and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle reservation inquiries from guests and other stakeholders promptly and professionally.
• Process bookings using the Opera PMS accurately and efficiently.
• Maximize occupancy by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
• Maintain rate integrity by ensuring all rates are correctly entered and updated in the system.
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle inquiries professionally.
• Familiarity with property management systems (specifically Opera PMS).
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
