About This Position

We are seeking a dynamic couple to join our team as Guide and Lodge Manager at a stunning 5-Star self-catering lodge situated in a Private Game Reserve. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the lodge, creating memorable experiences for guests, and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.

Core Duties

• Oversee all aspects of lodge operations including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Ensure a high standard of service is maintained by staff through regular training and supervision
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the reputation and occupancy rates of the lodge
• Collaborate with the guide team to provide exceptional wildlife experiences for guests
• Manage inventory, budget, and financial records to ensure fiscal responsibility
• Create a welcoming environment that reflects the lodge's 5-Star status

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a couple who are passionate about the hospitality industry, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidates will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff effectively
• The ability to lead and motivate a team
• Familiarity with lodge operations, guest services, and housekeeping procedures
• A deep understanding of the local wildlife and conservation efforts in the area
• Experience in developing marketing strategies for tourism-related businesses
