About This Position
AnaVation is seeking an experienced cyber professional to join our team and support a mission-critical customer in Reston, Virginia. As a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer, you will design, develop, and integrate secure network and system architectures while building technical cybersecurity defenses, mitigating life-cycle risks, and ensuring compliance with government and industry standards such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
What You'll Do
- Provide technical expertise to ensure network systems meet DIA C&A and IA requirements and are properly certified and accredited.
- Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system and physical control solutions that protect proprietary/confidential data and systems.
- Support the client during the strategic design process, translating security and business requirements into actionable technical designs.
- Manage information-related risks effectively throughout the DIA’s Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process using RMF across the design lifecycle for classified systems obtaining and maintaining Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), Authority to Connect (ATC), and Authorization to Operate (ATO).
Qualifications
- Experience in designing, developing, and integrating secure network and system architectures.
- Knowledge of DIA C&A and IA requirements.
- Proficiency in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for classified systems.
- Ability to work on classified programs and Special Access Programs (SAP).
- Full-time, onsite position with no telework options.
