Role Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to join our team at Boxlunch. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and driving the success of our mission-driven retail store. Our goal is to use our passion for pop culture to make a positive impact on the communities we serve by donating meals with every $10 sale to Feeding America.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and overall store objectives
• Recruit, train, and develop staff members to ensure a high level of customer service and operational efficiency
• Create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for our customers, fostering lifelong relationships with them
• Handle various tasks and challenges that come your way with flexibility and enthusiasm

What We're Looking For

• A passion for pop culture and retail management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers and team members
• The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in retail or customer service roles, preferably within the past 3 years
• A commitment to our mission of using pop culture to fight hunger
