About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and community-engaged individual to join our team as a Youth Justice Coordinator (Rapid Response) in New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide). This is a permanent, full-time position based in the Central North Island with flexibility to travel across regions.

• Remuneration starting from $84,491-$98,674 per annum, commensurate with experience
• A role that allows you to make a positive difference for tamariki, rangatahi, their whānau, and the wider community

Responsibilities

• To coordinate rapid response interventions in youth justice cases
• To work closely with various stakeholders including law enforcement, social services, and community organizations
• To support tamariki and rangatahi to make positive life choices through tailored interventions

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in youth justice or related field
• Strong understanding of Māori culture, values, and principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
