Position Summary

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor at Marriott Hotels Resorts in Goa, India is responsible for inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and pool after being cleaned by Housekeepers to ensure adherence to quality standards. This role involves running sold room reports, verifying room status, identifying discrepant rooms, prioritizing cleaning tasks, and updating the status of departing guest rooms.

Supervisors will also assist in managing daily activities within the Housekeeping department and act as a liaison to coordinate efforts among team members. Responsibilities include ensuring that all areas meet Marriott's high standards for cleanliness and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, and other facilities after cleaning by Housekeepers
• Run sold room reports to track occupied and available rooms
• Verify room status and identify discrepancies in cleanliness or maintenance needs
• Prioritize room cleaning tasks based on guest check-out times and room conditions
• Update the status of departing guest rooms for efficient turnover
• Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities, including staff scheduling and performance evaluations
• Coordinate efforts among Housekeeping team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of hotel cleaning standards and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure
