About the Role
Join SA Health as a Technical Officer in our Genetics and Molecular Pathology team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge laboratory work on a full-time basis within the Adelaide CBD area.
Core Duties
- To perform complex technical duties related to genetics and molecular pathology.
- To assist with the analysis of genetic data and molecular tests.
- To maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in laboratory procedures.
- To contribute to ongoing research projects within the department.
- To work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals and scientists.
Skills & Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field is required for TGO1 role. For the TGO2 position, a higher qualification such as a Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in genetics and molecular pathology laboratory work.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
