About the Role
Talent4Health is currently seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Largo, Maryland. This position offers a full-time commitment with a 40-hour weekly schedule and an evening shift of 8 hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by preparing the operating room (OR) environment
- Set up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgeries
- Pass instruments to surgeons and assist with positioning patients
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies throughout the procedure
- Clean and sterilize equipment post-surgery
- Follow strict aseptic techniques and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Previous experience in an OR setting is preferred
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure during surgical procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Prioritization and multitasking abilities are essential
