Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Mentor and develop staff to enhance their professional growth and performance.
• Create a nurturing environment that supports the holistic development of tamariki.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve educational outcomes for children.
• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities effectively.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in early childhood education or a related field is essential.
• A proven track record of leadership in an early learning environment.
• Strong understanding of Te Whāriki, the Early Childhood Curriculum.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills to engage with tamariki, whānau, and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and innovation within a team.
