Role Overview
AnaVation is seeking an experienced cyber professional to join our team and support a mission-critical customer in Reston, Virginia. As a Deputy Lead, Cyber Security Officer, you will maintain the operational security posture for an information system to ensure that security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND) functions which support multi-tier IA and CND operations.
- Writing and tracking multi-organization Requests For Information (RFI), audit/inspection, certification and accreditation, vulnerability management, detection and response support services.
- Providing security certification test and evaluation of assets, vulnerability management and response, security assessments, and customer support.
- Supporting the proposal, coordination, implementation, and enforcement of information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Experience working collaboratively with staff at all levels to deliver short-term, medium-term, and long-term commitments.
- Shift work required.
- Strong understanding of Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND).
- Prior experience in writing and tracking multi-organization RFI, audit/inspection, certification and accreditation, vulnerability management, detection and response support services.
