SUPERMARKET SECURITY OFFICER (Weehawken, NJ) - Securitas - Jersey City, New Jersey
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Supermarket Security Officer to join our team at Securitas in Weehawken, New Jersey. This is a full-time position with no remote work options available.
- Available Shifts: Monday to Friday 0800-1600 (40 hours)
- Saturday and Sunday 0800-1600
- Mixed shift on Monday to Thursday 1600-2200 (40 hours total)
The role involves patrolling the premises regularly, maintaining order, and establishing a presence. You will also provide excellent customer service by greeting customers/shoppers.

- Patrol the supermarket premises on foot to maintain order and establish presence
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers/shoppers
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- A proven track record in security or related field is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergencies calmly
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and mixed shifts
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required for this position
