About This Position
The Director of Dining Services at Morrison Living in Madison, Wisconsin is a pivotal role within our healthcare food and nutrition services company. Reporting to the Vice President of Food & Nutrition Services, this full-time position oversees all aspects of dining operations, ensuring exceptional patient and resident experiences through personalized meal offerings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dining strategies that align with hospital and healthcare system goals
- Manage a team of chefs, dietary technicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the dining services
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards
- Create menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
- Monitor budget and expenses related to dining operations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand patient needs and provide appropriate meal options
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in food service management within a healthcare setting
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
