About the Role
Reporting to our Chief Legal, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer, you'll be a trusted advisor and an integral member of our legal team. Your primary focus will be supporting The Warehouse Group's extensive property portfolio, providing strategic and practical legal advice across a broad range of property matters.
Responsibilities
- Lease renewals and rent reviews
- Negotiation and drafting of contracts
- Property acquisition and disposal
- Landlord-tenant disputes resolution
- Development and construction law
- Compliance with local, regional, and national property laws
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in property law
- Demonstrated expertise in lease renewals and rent reviews
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills
- Experience with property acquisition, disposal, and development
- A proven track record of providing strategic legal advice to senior management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Licensed to practice law in New Zealand
