Role Overview

We are growing faster than our support structure can keep up. Currently, too many decisions hang on too few heads—our Account Managers need a leader who guides them, not just someone standing above them. That's why we're building the Key Account Manager level. You will lead your own team and customer portfolio—and shape how account management at MAILODY works in the future. This role is demanding; you'll face pressure from both top (growth goals) and bottom (a team that's still finding its footing). But don't worry, we won't leave you alone—we know it's not easy.

Key Responsibilities

• Fund 3–5 Account Managers in terms of professional and disciplinary guidance. Conduct weekly 1:1s with a clear structure (progress / issues / plans).
• Ensure the well-being of your team, actively develop your people through training, feedback, and structured onboarding.
• Take responsibility for the development and results of your own customer portfolio (worth 6–8 accounts, exclusively our most demanding customers). The daily business lies with your AMs. Act as a trusted contact at the senior decision-making level of your customers and proactively place topics in customer calls. Identify churn risks early, decide on countermeasures for your team, and turn threatened accounts back into growth.
• Be the technical fallback point for your team—master Klaviyo- and CRM architecture comprehensively. Coach your AMs technically and build their skills up instead of just answering questions.
• Own a company-wide process around our employees (e.g., onboarding or offboarding).

What You Bring

A proven track record in customer relationship management, particularly with complex B2B accounts. A deep understanding of CRM and email marketing tools. Strong leadership skills to guide and develop a team effectively. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. A proactive mindset to identify and address potential issues before they become critical.
