Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Customer Service & Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team at Beacon Lighting's St Kilda store. This role offers 25 hours per fortnight, with a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly
• Assist in the sale of lighting products, ensuring accurate transactions and upselling opportunities where appropriate
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience for our customers
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently and courteously
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed

Qualifications

• A minimum of 18 years of age
• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
