What This Role Involves

The Business Manager will be responsible for leading the school's corporate services and ensuring efficient business operations. Working closely with the Principal, this role involves managing finance, administration, and people leadership to support the effective operation of Mutarnee State School.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the school’s corporate services department, including finance and administration functions.
• Support the Principal in strategic planning and decision-making related to business operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
• Manage staff and resources effectively to support the overall operation of the school.
• Develop and implement efficient processes to enhance operational effectiveness.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in finance, administration, and people leadership.
• Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Able to work collaboratively within the school community and across departments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Qualifications in business management or related fields are desirable but not essential.
