What This Role Involves

This is a varied and active role at the heart of our Christchurch commercial store. You'll be fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres, diagnosing tyre wear, and helping customers with their tyre needs. The role involves hands-on work that will challenge you to build real skills and contribute effectively within a team environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Fitting new tyres to vehicles of various sizes and types
• Repairing damaged or worn-out tyres
• Maintaining tyre inventory and ensuring stock is up-to-date
• Diagnosing tyre wear patterns and recommending appropriate solutions
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries

What You Bring

We are looking for a candidate who has either been in the tyre industry for years or is just starting out with a strong desire to learn. Key skills include:

• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong customer service skills
• A willingness to work as part of a team
• Physical fitness for handling heavy lifting and manual tasks
