Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced legal professional to serve as the Head of Legal in India. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, you will lead the legal function for Invesco’s operations in Hyderabad, ensuring compliance with local and international laws while supporting business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex legal landscapes and provide sound legal advice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the legal team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of legal services.
- Provide comprehensive legal support for a wide range of business activities, including mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to foster a collaborative environment.
- Ensure all legal documents are reviewed and approved in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in local and international laws that may impact Invesco’s operations.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the legal industry, preferably within a financial services or investment management firm.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
