About This Position
U.S. Xpress - OTR is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for over-the-road (OTR) dry van operations. Drivers will be responsible for delivering freight across the United States with an average of 2,000 miles per week as solo operators or up to 5,500 miles per week in team settings.
- Sign on bonus available: $2,000 for OTR drivers and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for team drivers (split between partners).
- Average pay is based on experience with rates of 54-60 cents per mile (CPM) for solo operations.
Your Responsibilities
Drivers will be responsible for:
- Picking up and delivering freight across the country as a solo operator or in teams.
- Maintaining logs, records, and vehicle inspections according to company policies and federal regulations.
- Ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
What You Bring
Candidates should have:
- A valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements (H, X, or N).
- At least 1-5 months of over-the-road driving experience.
- A clean driving record and a strong safety history.
