The Opportunity
Transco Northwest Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team in Smyrna, Tennessee. With 50 years of experience in the material handling industry, we offer full-time employment with no remote work option available.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and install heavy machinery and equipment according to blueprints and specifications
- Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and systems
- Assist in the design, layout, and installation of new material handling systems
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure smooth operations and system integrity
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment status
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in millwrighting preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with heavy machinery installation, maintenance, and repair
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulations
- Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site travel
