Role Overview

The IC&E Technician II (Instrument & Control Technician) position at Onward Energy is a full-time role based in Fountain, Colorado. This senior technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal plant operations.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in control systems, including PLCs, HMI interfaces, and field devices.
• Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate measurements and reporting.
• Document all work performed and maintain detailed records for compliance purposes.
• Work closely with the Operations & Maintenance Manager on project planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IC&E or related field, preferably in a power plant setting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical and pneumatic instrumentation principles.
• Familiarity with PLC programming languages and HMI interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
