As a Registered Architect at Orthoatlanta you will apply professional expertise to shape spaces from concept through completion while working onsite in the Atlanta area. The role centers on translating client needs into buildable designs, coordinating technical details across disciplines, and maintaining the highest standards of practice that registered architects uphold. Core Duties

• Lead the creation of conceptual designs, schematic drawings, and construction documents that meet project goals and site constraints
• Review and refine plans to ensure full compliance with applicable building codes, zoning ordinances, and accessibility standards in Georgia
• Partner closely with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design questions and coordinate deliverables
• Prepare specifications, material schedules, and detailed drawings ready for bidding and construction
• Visit project sites to observe progress, verify conformance with approved documents, and address field conditions
• Maintain complete project records and contribute to quality reviews that uphold professional architectural standards

What You Bring

• Active registration or licensure as a Registered Architect recognized for practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Demonstrated experience producing complete architectural packages for commercial, institutional, or similar building types
• Solid working knowledge of life-safety codes, accessibility requirements, and local Georgia regulations
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable BIM platforms
• Clear written and verbal communication skills that support effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
