VP, Strategy & Business Development

Dazn invites applications for the VP, Strategy & Business Development role in New York (statewide). This full-time opportunity places a commercially focused leader at the center of growth efforts for the organization’s North American activities.

Position Summary

Based primarily on site at the New York office, the VP, Strategy & Business Development will serve as a senior commercial presence guiding the company’s U.S. sports activities and related expansion into regional markets. You will surface new commercial pathways, refine market-entry approaches, and help chart long-range expansion while supplying insights that shape executive choices and open additional value streams across markets and distribution platforms. The salary range for this position is $190,000 - $220,000. Candidates who combine analytical rigor with an entrepreneurial approach and genuine interest in media and sport will find the work especially rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial direction for the U.S. sports slate and associated moves into regional sports markets
• Conduct and advance negotiations with content rightsholders
• Own strategic planning and delivery of new commercial programs that advance broader growth goals
• Monitor industry shifts, appraise target markets, and construct models that quantify commercial outcomes
• Work tightly with finance, legal, product, and marketing partners to produce clear, executable plans that reinforce competitive standing
• Deliver recommendations that inform leadership decisions and reveal fresh opportunities for value creation across regions and platforms
