What You'll Do

• Implement portions of occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a supervising occupational therapist for outpatients
• Lead patients through prescribed exercises, therapeutic activities, and adaptive techniques that build strength, coordination, and independence
• Monitor patient responses during sessions and document progress, observations, and any concerns according to clinic standards
• Provide patients and family members with practical instruction so they can continue beneficial habits outside the therapy setting
• Prepare treatment areas, manage supplies, and ensure a safe, welcoming space for each COTA- Outpatient- Fulltime session at Urgent Care Work Care Rehab Harrisburg
• Coordinate timing and hand-offs with other clinical staff so every patient receives seamless Full Time outpatient support

What We're Looking For

• Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Valid state licensure or the ability to obtain required credentials to practice as a COTA
• Solid knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation principles and common therapeutic modalities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for accurate charting and patient education
• Ability to follow protocols carefully, respond calmly to changing patient needs, and work productively within a multi-disciplinary team
