About the Role

As an Inflight Interceptor Communications Data Terminal Product Engineer, you will own the complete product lifecycle for communications and data terminal systems. You will drive the integration, testing, and optimization of avionics and communications equipment that operates in demanding flight environments. Your work will directly impact mission-critical systems that operate across advanced aerospace platforms and support complex operational requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop product requirements, specifications, and technical baselines for inflight communications and data terminal systems
  • Direct system architecture and integration efforts for data processing components and subsystems
  • Execute technical analysis, modeling, simulation, and validation testing to verify performance and reliability
  • Partner with systems engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation, test reports, and technical specifications for certification and compliance
  • Identify and resolve complex technical challenges throughout the engineering development cycle

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of product engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or related industries
  • Demonstrated expertise in communications systems, data processing, or avionics integration
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and industry-standard tools
  • Proficiency with technical documentation, CAD software, and design analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain required security clearance preferred
